There are still a handful of Democratic Senators undecided about Gorsuch. There is much controversy about the Democratic filibuster and the possibility of the Senators with no voicemail, Mitch McConnell, changing the Senate rules to a Nuclear option. I support the filibuster, even at the risk of the rule change, as IF Russia and Trump colluded in this election, this illegitimate President should not have the privilege to appoint a judge to this court. That is it for me. It has nothing to do with Merrick Garland, it has everything to do with the Russia investigations and the information we do not yet know.

I've noticed my facebook feed is dramatically less political than it was a week or two ago. I know we all need and deserve a break from the overwhelm and horror of corruption, lies and deplorable regime and GOP actions. May I recommend the HOUSE PARTY option.
After the election I read a great piece in The Root on surviving the trump presidency. One of the steps was throw and attend a lot of house parties. Dance. Hang with good friends. Laugh.

On Saturday night we went to the epic uplift of house party's - the hootenanny. A bunch of great friends, in a sweet little house, playing music, singing, telling stories, dancing, drinking and just hanging out. It was awesome. It was connecting. It was an absolute UPLIFT, restorative and nourishing.
Connective hangs are so needed right now. As much as you can, spend time with like-hearted (phrase coined by my wife) people and LOVE, LIVE, LAUGH and SING AND DANCE your ass off.
